Great Plains Paranormal Investigations is a paranormal research group dedicated to helping people who have claims of paranormal activity. GPPI uses only scientific methods and equipment to document events, thus providing real evidence to the people we help and to further paranormal research. GPPI feels the only appropriate way to approach a case is to have respect for the people involved, to have a skeptical mind and desire to prove the events as natural events, even if they are unusual, but to be true to evidence. The only evidence GPPI accepts as being genuinely paranormal is evidence that has no other explanation.

GPPI is not just a ìghost huntingî group; it is a paranormal research group. Besides obtaining video or audio evidence of paranormal events, we seek to understand the very nature of the event. At GPPI, we practice a philosophy of Total Environmental Monitoring so as to understand just how the paranormal interacts with the reality of the normal world. By studying this interaction, we hope to promote theories and ideas that further paranormal research and our understanding of things paranormal.
